WHAT TO EXPECT
As you enter our building, you’ll see signage above the doors and entry ways that will point you toward our kids area. If you need assistance, ask any of the people at the doors to help you find the way. If you are dropping your children off before a gathering, give yourself extra time to get them checked in properly. We take your kids safety very seriously by doing full background checks on every single person serving in the children's area. The classes are fun and high energy. Biblical truth is the core of everything we teach. Once your kids are checked in and safe, feel free to grab a cup of coffee and head to the Worship Center.
We offer free coffee in our lobby. Help yourself to a cup.
You’ll notice a lot of people in the lobby are wearing lanyards that say "welcome" on them. Those volunteers are there to help you. If they don’t know the answer to your question, they can probably find someone who does. There are always a couple of our pastors nearby.
You will notice a pretty easy-going environment where people are dressed casually. If you arrive early, you’ll have no problem getting a seat of your choice. If you arrive a little late and the room looks full, don’t worry . . . Our ushers will help direct you to an open spot.
If you’ve been to a few different churches, you know that musical styles can vary quite a bit. Our worship music will largely consist of acoustic and electric guitars, piano, bass, drums, and a varying amount of vocalists from week to week. The bottom line for us is that our worship is designed to point to Christ.
Our teaching is focused on taking the deep truths of The Bible and explaining them in a practical manner that makes sense today. We also tend to bring our own stories into the preaching as God works in us. Expect our sermons to last roughly between 35 - 40 minutes. Check out our full sermon archive.
We believe giving is a powerful part of our worship together, and while we encourage those who call Bayside Church their home to give, we likewise encourage guests to not give unless you feel led to. To give online click button below.
